NEXUS-LAB „An Interdisciplinary Journey”: Health Through the Eyes of Gen Z

NEXUS-LAB „An Interdisciplinary Journey”: Health Through the Eyes of Gen Z

Within the framework of the eTwinning partnership, the students of Class 10S from the „Queen Mary” National Pedagogical College in Deva, enthusiastically coordinated by their form teacher Irina Botici, have embarked on an engaging exploration of the „Healthy Living” concept.

The NEXUS-LAB project is not just a theoretical lesson; it is a collaborative platform where science, sports, and technology meet to address the needs of today’s youth.

🌟 Project Pillars:

  • Mindful Nutrition: Students explored the „rainbow on their plate,” learning to choose whole foods and understanding the benefits of vitamins for energy and focus.
    • Key Activity: Preparing balanced meals (like grilled chicken with broccoli) to prove that healthy eating is as delicious as it is nutritious.
  • Sports as a „Life Hack”: Physical activity was presented not as a chore, but as an essential tool for stress management and sleep improvement.
    • Key Activity: Documented workout sessions highlighting physical benefits (body weight management) and emotional health (endorphin release).
  • Mental Health: In a digital world, the project emphasized emotional balance, using multimedia resources to make these topics accessible and relatable.
  • Digital Creativity: Under the „Lights, Camera, Action!” section, students used tools like Canva and video editing software to create awareness campaigns, showcasing impressive technical and communication skills.
